YVONNE MUSEY JOHNSON

Yvonne Musey Johnson is a mixed media artist who teaches EAL at Bishop James Mahoney High School. She primarily makes jewelry but also works with metals, clay, found objects, and fibre. Her work has been exhibited in the Saskatchewan Craft Council, Affinity Gallery. Her jewelry has sold worldwide. She holds a B.Ed, M. Ed, and B. A. In Studio Art, concentrating on Contemporary Sculpture. Her current pieces in this show reference nature and the environment. The sardine can sculpture was in a recent Hawaiian International Artist Collaboration, virtual online auction where all pieces had to use a sardine can as a base for their pieces.
